Everything written about Pond HQ starts on this desk — the pond log, the longer game notes and the odd things pulled out of the water. A dispatch is a headline, a date and the piece itself, filed properly before it goes up anywhere else. Nothing sits here half-finished; when a piece is ready, it is ready.
The spike by the lamp holds whatever is currently being written. Check back after a broadcast or a crew shift — that is usually when something new gets filed.
